Making places - 7th biennal of European Towns and Town Planners

[i]7th biennal of European Towns and Town Planners[/i] Budapest 21-23 June 2007 The Conference will deal with the design of the [b]urban environment in an interdisciplinary manner[/b], covering a wide range of issues e.g. [b]sustainable practices, future visions, latest concepts, generic skills, community concerns, and the role of culture and innovation[/b], focusing on challenges that urban planners face in the process of creating liveable and memorable places, in the context of unforeseen changes. The two and a half day program will follow the best practice: plenary sessions with keynote speakers in the morning followed by concurrentmobile workshops (site visits) in the afternoons. Parallel with it, there will be also an exhibition of plans, projects from allover the world and from Hungary, including the entries for the Hungarian Plan of the Year. Also be of ample opportunities for sightseeing and entertainment.
