Energiesalon 2009

Zürich This year sees the return of the Energiesalon in Zurich, a platform with the theme of architecture and sustainability, organised by BGP together with EK Energiekonzepte and the Architekturforum. Whereas in its first session the focus was on outstanding buildings, this time we turn our attention to sustainable urban design, examining developments in Switzerland and Europe, and as far afield as the Middle East and China. Leading exponents of various disciplines will be sharing their thoughts, opinions and experiences with us in talks and open discussions. Motivated by a passion for sustainable buildings, BGP aims to provide a platform for discussion that brings together the various disciplines involved in this area, enables the transfer of knowledge and makes a contribution to the implementation of sustainable architecture in practice. BGP stands for forward-looking architecture.
