The workshop-like programme is directed in cooperation with Brian Cody (former Associate of Ove Arup), now head of the institute of building and energy-technologies at the Technical University of Graz. The conference aims at an innovative concept of ecology providing decisive impulses for new design methods in general, as well as inspiring the architects in developing their project for the first round of the competition following specifically modified guidelines. The conference shall feed the concepts of architectural proposals in order to enable them to give impulses to the demanded re-interpretation of the topic of an ecological society and its environment. The interactive programme of the conference with its key-note statements, round table and open debate fosters a high intensity of exchange amongst participants and experts. The conference will be conducted by Prof. Brian Cody and the Institute of Building and Energy-Technology. In addition the participants can enjoy the info-lounge in order to dive deeper into the topic of progressive ecological concepts.
