Managing heritage assets: Waterways in historic towns

In its beautiful setting on the River Avon, but also with its historically strategic link to the Grand Union Canal, we have the opportunity to explore best practice in the management of assets and the challenges involved, demonstrated here and through case studies from other cities including:
Regeneration, Economic impacts, Tourism perspectives, European funding, Iconic buildings related to waterways, Anti-social behaviour
The evening programme on 7 June also offers unique opportunities, including a tour of the RSC Court Yard Theatre redevelopment site.
