Vancouver gears up for Third Session of World Urban Forum

[i]Nairobi/Vancouver, 12 June 2006[/i] The Canadian city of Vancouver is gearing up for the Third Session of the World Urban Forum, UN-HABITAT’s premier international meeting on the state of the world’s growing cities held every two years. 15,000 people have registered for the 19-23 June events – a week of discussions involving governments, local authorities, civil society and non-governmental organizations and experts in every sphere of urban life.
