ABOUT THE AUTHORS:
Dirk Sijmons studied urban planning at TU Delft, and then held various positions in the government, the last being with the Forestry Service. He is one of the founders of H+N+S Landscape Architects. He is a professor of Landscape Architecture TU Delf University.
Jasper Hugtenburg studied physical geography and landscape architecture. After working for the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment, since 2007 he has been working at H+N+S Landscape Architects. He has spent the past few years focusing on designing energy landscapes, on various scales and levels of abstraction.
Fred Feddes is a journalist and writer in the field of spatial planning and urban planning. Together with Maarten Haijer and Dirk Sijmons, Feddes wrote Een plan dat werkt (A Plan that Works).
Anton van Hoorn works at the Department of Spatial Planning and Quality of the Local Environment, which is part of the Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency (PBL). The themes that he works on involve large-scale urban planning, international comparisons of urban development, and energy.
