[i]Revista papers Num. 50 Special Issue[/i] This monographic issue has been carried out by the Servei d'Estudis Territorials de la Mancomunitat de Municipis de l'Àrea Metropolitana de Barcelona and continues the one published in 2002, in the issue 37 of PAPERS. It is based on the statistical and cartographical information (cities that make it up, size and density) and information about the metropolitan government of each of the 104 agglometarions identified in 20 countries (using the same methodology developed in 2002).
