i2010 for European Regions and Cities

[i]Conference [/i] Olomouc, Czech Republic 26 - 27 September 2006 The i2010 for European Regions and Cities Conference takes place in the historic city of Olomouc, Czech Republic 26 - 27 September 2006. Supported by the European Commission (under INTEREG IIIC) and the Region of Olomouc, this conference will bring together representatives from the European Commission and delegates from national and regional government as well as commercial and research organisations across Europe to share knowledge and experience, lessons learnt and good practice. The goals of the i2010 for European Regions and Cities Conference are to stimulate discussion of opportunities for European regions and cities to leverage funding available from the European Commission for Information Society related Programmes, and to promote knowledge sharing and exchange experiences about the current state of Information Society related activities at a regional and city government level across Europe. The Conference will provide an excellent networking environment to discuss problems and new ideas, share knowledge and experience, identify potential partners and discuss proposal ideas with European Commission representatives. It will provide a forum to showcase existing innovation in regional and city government, achievements funded under European Commission, national and regional programmes, and look forward to the future by focusing on i2010 and specific related priorities.
