ITC invites applicants to fill professorial chairs in the department of Urban and Regional Planning and
Geo-Information Management (PGM)
The PGM department is responsible for developing capacity of organisations that are involved in the field of Geo-Information
Management for Multi-level Governance of Urban Regions, primarily for and in countries that are technologically and/or economically less
developed (LDC’s). The scientific focus of the PGM department is to support governance of dynamic urban regions.
The department has also a special mandate in capacity development activities related to Land Administration.
Professors of the departments are expected to actively contribute to research, education and (overseas) project services and to direct and
develop staff of their chair-group in these activities. Additional responsibilities of chair-holders include cultivating multidisciplinary cooperation
within the Institute, stimulating and maintaining scientific networks, participating in the management of the department and contributing to
the development of the Institute’s policies.
