POSTER COMPETITION 2011
Structure of the Competition and Guidelines
The Directorate-General for Regional Policy, European Commission and the Regional Studies Association invite early career researchers in European Regional Policy to present their research in the form of a poster at the 9thOPEN DAYS 2011 European Week of Cities and Regions (11th- 13thOctober). The overall winner will get €750 and the first runner-up will get €250.
Accommodation for up to 2 nights and a return flight/train to Brussels will be provided to the shortlisted finalists (more details will be provided at a later stage).The Competition takes place in two stages:
Stage One
Submission of a 1000 word (max) abstract and a current CV both in English to info@rsa-ls.ac.uk before the 17thJune 2011.
Stage Two
The Competition Jury will shortlist finalists by 31stJune 2011. All entrants will be informed of the outcome of their submission. Finalists will be invited to prepare a poster (see the Competition Guidelines for this) and to be prepared to take questions on their poster from the Competition Jury.Further details are available at www.regional-studies-assoc.ac.uk/events/future.asp and on the Call for Papers.
