Euromed Heritage Forum

Istanbul, Turkey, Akgun Hotel from Friday 27 to Saturday 28 October 2006 The Euromed Heritage Programme is the first EC regional programme focused on Cultural Heritage and from 1998 to 2006 it has consistently supported the South Mediterranean countries in their effort to care for their heritage. During this period, the programme has allocated a total budget of EUR 57 million and implemented 32 projects, involving over 400 partners in cultural heritage from the EU and the Mediterranean region. The Euromed Heritage Forum will be an occasion to present the results and best practices of the programme and there will also be a platform of discussions for future priorities and strategies in the Cultural Heritage sector for the region.
