The Masterclass hypotesis discuss the European Reindustrialization through the lens of territories and the old production models.
What's happening to industrial districts? What about productive cities? What is left of Regional Production Systems?
In a context of big industries and capitals, off and re-shoring, in a more and more flexible and insecure market, between innovations and neo-colonialisms, which is the role of territories?
Many case studies show a very complex and articulated image with really different ways of shaping space, which seem seldom to be very far away from local or European policies.
European Reindustrialization seems an utopia far away from the richness built up by a micro-enterprises and innovative crafts texture and our consumed lands seem not to create a real common wellness and development.
The relation between economy and territory is one development key and a lens to observe the world transformations, revealing diversified condition of reindustrialization and opening unforeseen future perspectives. Through some researches and some experiences Economists and Urbanists discuss the future of production in Europe.
